Grim forecasts clearly curtailed activity on day three and the pouring rain early morning was enough to keep some riders indoors but the Sunday Club Ride went ahead with reduced numbers and, whilst the weather remained relatively dry, the standing water and flooding from the overnight rain meant wet feet for our intrepid riders.
So, on to day four:, It all starts at 9am at the Polish War Memorial (A40 Ruislip / Northolt) and is scheduled for a ride down to Box Hill. However, at the time of writing the weather forecast is not brilliant and if riders concur on the morning then a shorter ride may be considered. Stay tuned to the West London Cycling Whatsapp Group for the latest developments.
