AND THERE, AND THERE, AND THERE…….

HERE’S THE FINAL LEADERBOARD AFTER ALL EIGHT DAYS:

With everybody past the 500km mark apart from Baz (who is just back from COVID isolating and has done an impressive 234.7km in three days) this should have been a processional celebratory ride, however, our old foe ‘The Puncture Witch’ had cast a spell on Leon E who suffered several punctures before Tim Sollesse suffered a fatal rear mech breakage. Notwithstanding more stops than a local bus service a detour was made to the Cinnamon Cafe in Windsor where we got to admire the Festively Decorated bike of a lady called Ruth, enjoy coffee and laugh about the day’s shenanigans ……. oh and for the first time this week we rode in sunshine.

Bryn was today’s star, both on the bike and for mechanical assistance the AA could only dream of 🙂

Well done everyone,, at the time of writing West London Cyclists have raised nearly £3,000 for research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy … take a bow people!
