It’s a Fish and Chips Festivities in Brighton this Thursday … a Bank Holiday Bonanza Bash …

Cycle our Seaside Special to Right-On Brighton and enjoy lashings of salt and vinegar on your fish and chips just like any world-tour rider would after a decent ride out.

THURSDAY 2nd JUNE 8am POLISH WAR MEMORIAL (A40 RUISLIP / NORTHOLT) There and back (220km) or catch the train the train back (117km)

It’s our Bank Holiday Rouleur Coaster on Thursday 2nd June, yeas that’s right a Bank Holiday Thursday, whose ever heard of that before?

So don’t miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity to do a Brighton run on a Bank Holiday Thursday. Better still, we’ve cut Ditchling Beacon out of the route, so a manageable 117km with less hills and the train back, or you can ride back and do the full 200km (DIY Audax points anyone?)

Starting at 8am from the Polish War Memorial, this is one you won’t want to miss!

We will run separate speed groups, size and number dependent on the turnout on the day, as usual. The route is available from the routes section in the Member’s Zone section of the West London Cycling website (menu above). You will need to subscribe as a member to access it.

AND COMING UP … TUNBRIDGE WELLS CYCLING FESTIVAL RIDE

SATURDAY 11th JUNE FROM THE POLISH WAR MEMORIAL (A40 RUISLIP / NORTHOLT)

Southborough District Wheelers are a special club based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and are celebrating 90 years with a Cycling Festival. We are planning to ride down (about 100km) and probably back but are looking at the train travel options for anyone wanting to come back by train. Those riding back might like to consider doing it as an Audax DIY.

An 8am start should enable us to arrive at the festival around lunchtime.
