WEST LONDON CYCLING

West London and Chilterns Cycling … plus loads more

A 96km one way ride (train back) or a 200km Round trip (potentially an Audax DIY) to the Tunbridge Wells Cycling Festival which is being run by our good friend Julian Fussell of Southborough District Wheelers to celebrate their 90th anniversary, whilst we celebrate 9 months from starting up! Start at 8am from the Polish War Memorial.

It’s about 96km one way and, consequently, 192km both ways but a discretionary loop around Ickenham at the end should top you up to 200km if you need the Audax DIY points.

TRAINS BACK

Trains run about every half hour back to Charing Cross. You can put your bike on a District or Circle Line Train from there and link up with the Metropolitan Line somewhere, or ride up to Baker Street. Fares may be more on the day, but advance tickets are available at £6.30 at the time of writing. BICYCLES ARE ALLOWED ON TRAINS.
