Dunwich Dynamo or the Club Ride? ‘Mind Blowin’ Decisions’ for the Heatwave weekend …. Boogie Nights or the usual Groove Line? …. your choice

When Heatwave had a hit with ‘Mind Blowin’ Decisions’ the lyrics were ‘Mind Blowin’ Decisions, causes head on collisions’ but we don’t expect any of those. We’re sure that everyone has planned adequate lighting for the Dunwich Dynamo this Saturday night! So, night ride or the usual groove? Boogie Nights or the Groove Line?

For those doing the Dunwich Dynamo, we are starting at 6pm on Saturday 16th from the Polish War Memorial or, 8pm from Hackney Fields for those wanting a shorter ride. There has been discussion on the Whatsapp group and, broadly, a few riders will ride back to Epping to catch a train home, whilst others have arranged transport from Dunwich. Please contact us if you have not been part of the conversation and want to ride with us.

For everyone else it’s the mouth watering prospect of a ride to Dorney Reach and the great cafe there. As usual, 9am from the Polish War Memorial. As usual there are two routes, with faster riders doing the slightly longer routes to try and synchronise our arrivals at the coffee stops. There will be as many groups as suits the number of and speed of those at the start, generally between 2 to 4 groups. It is free to ride, just turn up, but access and download the routes please subscribe to West London Cycling (it’s free) and then download the route from the Members Zone – Ride and Routes tabs above.

Whichever you choose it’ll be a thriller …. did you know that Heatwave band member Rod Temperton wrote Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ ?
