PLAN B at Boulters lock, so that you don’t STAY TOO LONG in the heat.

West London Cycling are providing a ‘back up’ short cut home from Boulters for anyone feeling the heat on our 14th August Sunday Ride. Start at 9am at the Polish War Memorial (A40 Ruislip / Northolt)

We recognise that the weather forecast is more ‘Madrid’ than ‘Maidenhead’ this Sunday so you some of you may want to be back home for a Sunday Siesta. Ever thoughtful, we dug out our Boulters Back Up Plan B route enabling you to ride to the cafe with everyone and, should you decide, take a shorter route home …. it’s all part of the West London Cycling Service. Just 64.5 joyous kilometres on this Thames Valley Velo Tour and coffee at Jenners in Maidenhead. After coffee you choose whether to continue on your previously chosen route or cut back with the short version. We recommend you download at least two of the three routes this week to give yourself flexibility.

As usual, there will also be the two full routes to choose from and various speed groups to meet everyone’s needs.

Just turn up at 9am at the Polish war Memorial (A40 Ruislip / Northolt) with the route downloaded on your device. To get the route you need to sign up (free – see button above to subscribe) and then you’ll have acess to our routes via the members’ zone tab above (choose routes and rides).

We decide on the day as to haw many groups we split into, it really depends on who turns up. The faster groups will usually do the longer of the two options with the aim of us all reaching coffee stops at similar times.
