Bank Holiday SUNDAY AND MONDAY weekend weather

We have two rides this weekend, or should that be fives rides, if all of the options are taken into account?

Two routes on our regular Sunday Ride from the Polish War Memorial at 9am, a short ride, as most of us will be doing the Randonax on Monday, with coffee at Eastcote House Gardens 38km into the ride. As the coffee stop is close to the finish, it is possible to cut the route down to 38km but the full courses are 54km and 60km.

The 54km Colne Valley Velo Roam has only 390m of climbing, mostly packed into two climbs at Harefield and Northwood. Similarly the 60km Colne Valley Super Velo Roam only has 459m of climbing with the addition of a climb at Maple Cross. Just enough to warm you up for the Bank Holiday Randonax Rides

As usual, there will be two routes to choose from and various speed groups to meet everyone’s needs.

Just turn up at 9am at the Polish war Memorial (A40 Ruislip / Northolt) with the route downloaded on your device. To get the route you need to sign up (free – see button above to subscribe) and then you’ll have acess to our routes via the members’ zone tab above (choose routes and rides).

We decide on the day as to how many groups we split into, it really depends on who turns up. The faster groups will usually do the longer of the two options with the aim of us all reaching coffee stops at similar times.

OPTION ONE: COLNE VALLEY VELO ROAM 54km

OPTION TWO: COLNE VALLEY SUPER VELO ROAM 60km
