Sunday ride with some royal miles on 18th September at 9am from the Polish War Memorial

As we were riding the Ascot-Legoland Course our virtual race on 14th September, we thought we’d make it an Ascot week, and we know you all love the Ascot Great Park Route, so we scheduled it in for Sunday 18th September. As usual, it starts from the Polish War Memorial at 9am. Coffee at the end at The Rusty Bike Cafe in Uxbridge. However, given that the Queen’s funeral takes place the day after, it seems fitting that we will be cycling through a Royal Park and along the Royal Mile towards Ascot, home of the Royal Ascot races. We feel sure that those of you who feel that the occasion should be marked will see this happy coincidence as something poignant that we can call our own token gesture on this occasion of National significance.

As usual, there will be two routes to choose from and various speed groups to meet everyone’s needs.
Just turn up at 9am at the Polish war Memorial (A40 Ruislip / Northolt) with the route downloaded on your device. To get the route you need to sign up (free – see button above to subscribe) and then you’ll have acess to our routes via the members’ zone tab above (choose routes and rides).
We decide on the day as to how many groups we split into, it really depends on who turns up. The faster groups will usually do the longer of the two options with the aim of us all reaching coffee stops at similar times.

OPTION ONE; Ascot Great Park 70km
OPTION TWO Ascot Great Park Plus 78km
