We return to some of your old favourites with the Giro de Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield Archers as your West London Cycling Sunday routes for Sunday 2nd October and Sunday 9th October respectively. As always, each Sunday will have two route options and, unusually it’s coffee at Jungs in Beaconsfield two weeks running! Yum, Yum, Jung, Jung!
Sunday 2nd October 2022 OPTION ONE Giro de Gerrards Cross 68km
Sunday 2nd October 2022 OPTION TWO Greater Giro de Gerrards Cross 73km
As usual, there will be two routes to choose from and various speed groups to meet everyone’s needs.
Just turn up at 9am at the Polish war Memorial (A40 Ruislip / Northolt) with the route downloaded on your device. To get the route you need to sign up (free – see button above to subscribe) and then you’ll have access to our routes via the members’ zone tab above (choose routes and rides).
We decide on the day as to how many groups we split into, it really depends on who turns up. The faster groups will usually do the longer of the two options with the aim of us all reaching coffee stops at similar times.
As most of you will know from previous rides, the Archers ride takes in some of the 1963 route of the Archer Road Race, the big historic race in our area.
Sunday 9th October OPTION ONE Beaconsfield Archers 59km
Sunday 9th October OPTION ONE Beaconsfield Archers (Longbow Edition) 64km
