Retrace and rejoice with West London Cycling’s Sunday Ride on Sunday 9th October at 9am from the Polish War Memorial

REJOICE! It looks like another clear day, with autumn temperatures for our second visit to Jungs in Beaconsfield this month.

RETRACE! This is another chance to retrace one of the famous courses used in the heyday of the Archer Road race, a local race that attracted international riders back in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

As usual, there will be two routes to choose from and various speed groups to meet everyone’s needs.
Just turn up at 9am at the Polish war Memorial (A40 Ruislip / Northolt) with the route downloaded on your device. To get the route you need to sign up (free – see button above to subscribe) and then you’ll have access to our routes via the members’ zone tab above (choose routes and rides).
We decide on the day as to how many groups we split into, it really depends on who turns up. The faster groups will usually do the longer of the two options with the aim of us all reaching coffee stops at similar times.

As most of you will know from previous rides, the Archers ride takes in some of the 1963 route of the Archer Road Race, the big historic race in our area.

Sunday 9th October OPTION ONE Beaconsfield Archers 59km

Sunday 9th October OPTION ONE Beaconsfield Archers (Longbow Edition) 64km
