ENTER RACE 6.3 HERE (Wednesday 9th November)
West London VR had 190 sign ups, 125 starters and 116 finishers, another thrilling race and Doug Hart winning a thrilling sprint from Erik Haugen and Mat Hammond. The big teams were working hard on the front, particularly NoPinz£r and Rasio whilst there were some great performances from local clubs Twickenham CC, Southborough DW and Watford Velo Sports. These races truly are for everyone, global or local, male or female, fast or slow.
Judith Newton pipped Caroline Reuter and Holly Larson in the Ladies League race, and it was fairly close as that competition looks set for another thriller with 15 ladies in the mix in Race 6.2 (Louise Hibbeler if you are reading, please switch your gender to female on RGT as your results can only be included if you do). Caroline Reuter v Judith Newton looks like it is going to be really exciting across the series with just two points separating them but don’t write off Holly Larson yet either!
Rasio Racing’s Mat Hammond is in the hot seat in General Classification, with a list of stars filling up the top places behind him, starting with Marian Maricak, and tonight’s winner Doug Hart
Despite NoPinz3R dominating the race at times, only the top two riders score and Rasio Racing are pushing NoPinz3R into second in the Teams Classification with Moon Riders third but it is tight and looks set for another nail biting season.
The Ladies Teams Classification looks like a tussle between Riak and West London but Twickenham and Smile On are ratcheting up a points tally …. so keep watching! We have slightly updated the Ladies Teams points system to match the Ladies League formula. This doesn’t affect the standings.
