We are in the early days of Cade, which itself is embryonic and you can actually ride it for free at the moment, but this won’t last, so get in quick. We are running Equalized E-Races on Monday evenings at 7.30pm UK Time and you are welcome to come and join the fun.
Equalized races means that everyone’s power is equalled out, such that the amount of effort you put in will determine your performance this is great for those not blessed with world-class athletic attributes, and we would argue that good riders can benefit from this too.
We would make the point that if you are blessed with Mercx-esque characteristics, then you may be bored with beating your mates easily, but here you can be tested and get a decent workout and healthy competition without having to seek out higher level riders. Everybody wins! Metorphorically of course.
As noted above, our Equalized Races on CADEsport on Monday evenings at 7.30pm UK Time. There is no crashing on corners, everyone is equal, work hard to win and get fit in the spin.
GET IN NOW, AND SEE FOR YOURSELF JUST HOW EXCITING THIS FORMAT IS. SIGN UP FOR MONDAY 14th NOVEMBER’s RACE
Our Monday evening test races on CADEsport, are currently free but subscriptions will be required in the near future, so get in and try it now.
CADE is neither Zwift, nor RGT but will eventually overlap both and be a serious player in the online cycling market. But it has an abundance of its own characteristics and personality too, and we would pick out cornering and Equlaized Races as highlights for us so far.
We are currently running our races on a ‘no crash’ model whilst riders discover this exciting new platform, but we’d recommend you do a few solo rides to master it, it is actually quite good fun.
Where our races are catching people’s imagination is the Equalizer. Basically, every rider sets to the ProPower setting and, in effect, power is equalised and effort in what wins you the race. You should have seen Lisa Snell flying around the course on Monday 7th November to win convincingly! Well done Lisa.
This is about as good as handicap racing gets and makes for thrilling races. Give it a go on Monday 14th November at 7.30pm on Cade
