Ray Wilson and Rasmus Feldeballe fought out the duel of the series when they pulled ahead a full a huge gap between themselves and the peleton to finish almost neck and neck in their sprint, Ray breaking Rasmus’ heart by just 0.011 of a second. watch the video via the link above. the full finishing result is below….
Caroline Reuter again took 100 points in the Ladies League with Catherine Eames and Gesine Junker following up …. RIAK continue to dominate the ladies League but there are still 5 races to go, can anyone challenge Caroline Reuter?
Next up, we have the Individual Time trial Race on Wednesday 1st February (7.30pm UK Time) on the Black Park Course. Riders leave at 5 second intervals and as there is no draft, it doesn’t really matter if you bunch up, but there will be no benefit from drafting. At 5 second intervals it only takes a few minutes to get all of the riders started, but the earlier you join the starting pen, the earlier you’ll start. The course circles Pinewood Studios, where James Bond movies are made … in fact loads of Blockbusters have been made there …. let’s make West London VR Race 6.9 a Blockbuster too!
