West London VEER … The CADEsport full VR Racing experience makes history as World Series launches

We had a ball in race 7.1, with Race 7.2 due on Wednesday 19th April at 7.30pm on CADEsport. Race 7.1 made history as the first race on CADEsport to use a replicated real road. We had our Ab fab Ascot course (laps around the outside of the Ascot Horse racing Course) made up and put into one of the ‘skins’ that will be available in CADEsport when their Replicator feature goes live in the future. Their will be several ‘skins’ to choose from but we used one that wasn’t too dissimilar to the actual foliage around Ascot in real life, making it uncannily realisitic!

The race saw Erhan Konakhlar, Homer Thompson and Malcolm Murdoch form a breakaway, only for malcolm to suffer the heartbreak of a techanical with less than 1km to go on this flat course. The jury decided that he was so far ahead of fourth place that he should be awarded third place though, so he bagged 98 points towards the general classification.

That left Erhan and Homer to battle it out to the line and Erhan smartly deployed his remaining power up (extra watts) and Corner Caper (avoiding crashing on a bend) to race ahead and grab the win

CADEsport are working on the next course, the brand new Windsor park ranger for us, and the previews look good. It is on the 19th April at 7.30pm and is totally free to enter. FULL SERIES DETAILS HERE
