Christian Wiedmann is the wise man as he takes West London VEER Race7.4 on CADEsport with a cracking hilltop finish

With 16 starters the CADEsport version of West London VR is startingto establish itself as an event to be part of, even though it is only 4 races old. And this is reinforced by the excitement we’veexperienced so far in the series.
Race 7.4 was no exception, a group of six broke away early on but only towatds the end did Christian Wiedmann and Sebastian Kuehn break free to duke it out on the final climb. Both used their last Power Ups on the hill but it was Christian who had the legs to pull away in the final few hundred metres and take a clear victory.
The next group involved Andy Evans and Malcolm Murdoch from West London Cycling with Series Leader Vanessa Mauerhan … the latter using the others’ wheels before breaking clear just at the end. Other riders previously in contention sufferred crashes in the later laps but plugged on to pick up valuable points in the series. You can check out all of the results below.
Homer and Kay Thompson coolly stayed upright to finish ahead of Erhan Konakhlar, Eugene Korole and Rene Valadez.
Vanessa is now clear leader of both the General Classification and the Ladies League, but remember that it is the best six results that count in Ladies League and she has ridden more races.
