It’s a West London One-Two plus Vbeke and Vanessa showin’ out for da ladiez as the competitive racing on CADEsport just gets better and better … West London VEER Race 7.5 as it happened ……
Classic racing, hard found and strategic uses of Power Ups determined this race, in CADEsport’s early history, this was quite a moment as we saw riders playing out the race with clear tactical awareness.
We had warned of the tricky bend with 700m to go and most of the 5 breakaway riders had clearly taken a look at the course and saved a Corner Caper Card to avoid crashing. Unfortunately Christian Weidman didn’t use one and crashed. At this point the two ladies. Vbeke Bertram and Vanessa Mauerhan lokked to be clear as they tackled the bends skillfully but both Andy Evans and Brett Smith from the West London VR team had saved a Power Plant Card and it gave them the extra power needed to pass the ladies with Andy taking the win, Brett second and Vbeke third …. great racing!
