Glasgow may be hosting a few UCI world Championships later this year but the big news is that Glasgow United Cycling Club are 44 points clear in the team championships and Alisdair McAlpine leads the GC … oh and did we mention that James Melville is 9th with Stevie Couper 16th?
There is still a way to go though, the series is run over 13 races, with the next due on wednesday 7th June at 7.30pm UK Time – Another chance to blast around the famous Fifield loop which is used for both cycle racing and Time Trials. Expect a fast race, and remember that those Glasgow riders do like to attack from the front!
