The actual series will start on Monday 24th July at 7.30pm UK Time, with one more test races on 17th July.

Riders will get 100 points for first position, 99 for second in each race and so on, ie 98th for third etc There will be trophies for the series’ podium places. There will also be a Ladies League (scroll down.

The Ladies League will offer 100 points to the first female finisher. The second lady will get 100 point less the number of places further back she is. So, if she were 10 places behind the first lady in the full race, she’d get 90 points. There is then a countback to third, in the same way to determine the third lady’s points.

This has been tried and tested in our races on other platforms and gives the ladies a chance to race in the full peleton whilst still competing against the other women. In particular it becomes worth sprinting against nearby males because extra places also earn extra points in the Ladies League by cutting the number of places between the lady rider and the lady rider ahead. Exciting stuff!

Free trophies will be sent to the podium placed riders in the General Classification and Ladies League.
