Using the 100 Greatest Climbs Strava segment we decided to have an informal Hill Climb Event up Whiteleaf during the Club Ride on Sunday 10th September. Those who didn’t want to race simply peeled off and used the short route and stood at the top of Whiteleaf and cheered the riders as they approached the finish. Great atmosphere, great fun and a terrific coffee stop in Saunderton … almost a perfet day but an unexpected monsoon hit us at Looseley Row … still, we were dry again by the time we reached the Rusty Bike for the coffee led closing ceremony. Yep, it’ll be back next year as you all requested!
