Lorenzo Simons powered clear for a classy win on this ultra flat course, whilst a fierce sprint saw Wouter Claes just pip Moreno Ceccon for second place to make it a Moon Riders 1-2 on the line. The RIAK Ladies were out in force and Caroline Reuter took the ladies race but only by a short distance from West London’s Aileen Davidson.

There are only four races in this shortened series and they are consecutive Wednesdays, so every week until the end of October 2023. It’ll be a blast, and then it’ll be past!
