Well what a race, it split into two from groups and we got two great sprint finishes with a few further back in the race too. There were 45 starters and 43 finishers as Indie Velo’s longest running race series continued to contribute record numbers to the wonderful embryonic INDIE VELO platform.

However, it was an interesting evening as we, for the second time ever, did the commentary from overseas (West London have been promoting e-Racing for nearly 4 years). This time though, we were looking for a quiet spot in an airport as timings were tricky for us returning from a West London Cycling trip to Mallorca … background noise always a risk but it all went to plan! Meanwhile in Bognor UK, thise woderful chaps from ZMS were beaming it all out live …

It also went to plan for Ludvig Karlberg, the Swede finishing in style from Aleksej Calmann and Tim Humpton. Morten Vaeng, Zeb Norman and John Sammut weren’t far behand. Aileen Davidson took the Ladies League win again.

John’s points lifted Pocomotion to fourth in the teams classification, but Kalas still lead from Electric Spirit and R3R. Tim Humpton, Morten Vaeng and Eugene Korolev lead the GC places, with Lisa Snell still top of Ladies League.
