Ludvig Karlberg smashes home again, Tim Humpton still topping the General Classification and his ElectricSprit Team still the team to beat. Lisa Snell tops the Ladies League as 60 riders started Monday Malarkey Race 2.5 on Indie Velo with 57 finishers.

SCROLL DOWN FOR MONDAY MALARKEY RACE 2.5 RESULTS

It was probably a bit tough on Tim Humpton, he broke clear in an epic attempt to drop everyone at the end, but went too early and ended up eigth … he still leads the series though. Instead, the exemplary finsh came from Ludvig Karlberg (again) .. smashing home ahead of some of the great names in VR Racing, John Sammut, Nick Greenhalgh, James Melville and Rasmus Felballe, leaving the GC’s second place rider, Eugene Korolev having to settle for sixth place … something tells us this is going to be a great series … does miss it, whether you ride or watch … Mondays at 7.30pm should be marked in your diary as Monday Malarkey Day!

With 60 starters and 57 finishers, it was another new high for Monday Malarkey and Indie Velo, and some great names were present … we thank each and every one of you …. but spare a thought for Gail Robinson of Twickenham CC as she suffered multiple dropouts but was determined to finish … amazing stuff Gail, your perseverence are to be applauded and everyone should watch right to the end of the video just to see that Ladies’ determination shine through.

Lisa Snell holds on to the top sport in the Ladies League but has ridden more races than the others. Remember it is your best six results that count in Ladies League. It is early days, but both Twickenham CC and West London VR have set up Ladies Teams ….. so there may be a new classification on the way!
