Huge Thanks to Ian Oliver and Willesden Cycling Club for letting us use their classic 3Down as a DIY ride. Ian is not running the calendar event in 2024 and we asked his permission to run it as an informal DIY ride in its absence. He kindly gave us permission.

As this is a DIY event, there are no formal controls, and no facilities at the start and finish, although the Uxbridge start should ensure that there are shops available nearby. We are planning to start at 7am from the Rusty Bike Cafe, Fassnidge Park, Uxbridge at 7am on Saturday 13th April.

To enter you will need to buy a DIY Virtual Brevet from the Audax UK website, then submit a DIY application (again, via the AUK website). You can choose your own control points, but we suggest: Uxbridge start; Whitchurch 87km; Fordingbridge 149km; Alresford 217km; Uxbridge 309km. You should be able to purchase food at all these places, plus the Waitrose / John Lewis Longstock Farm Cafe 105km (recommended).
