West London Cyclonauts spread themselves avross several rides over the bank holiday weekend, a great turn out and well done to everyone. We started with the Rustington Rave, our annual Night Ride to Brighton, pictures from that are via the link further below … we had a superb ride in nice weather and well done to all the first timers.
Despite the horrific weather forecast, the rain came earlier than predicted so a largely dry club ride took us out to Taplow, Tony McEvoy with a terminal mechanical at Iver, caught the train to Hayes where he met Ian Nguru returning from conquering the Ride London closed roads sportive in London and Essex. Some great efforts in that too.
The Fantastic Voyage club ride was delightful, even the Jubilee River gravel path was quite rideable after the night before’s rain. We even stopped to watch some polo in Windsor Great Park
To round off the weekend, there was a test ride of Liam Fitzpatrick’s 200km Tour de Ricky on Sunday … windy but dry and a cracking ride.
