This unique 200km cycling route traces the old Metropolitan Line railway from the West London suburbs past it’s current finish in Amersham and Chesham to the pre Second World War destinations of Brill and Verney Junction. There are traces of the old railway along the route if you know where to look. The old station at Quainton actually still exists and has historic trains operating from it!
Join us at 7am at St.Martin’s Church Ruislip (Eastcote Road / High Street) for a fantastic 200km spin into the countryside. If you want, you can enter it as an Audax DIY with controls at Winslow 73km, Caulcot 112km, Islip 125km, Great Missenden 174km and Ruislip 208km.
