Bryn Evans’ last ride before leaving the UK … don’t miss the Berko Bash Ride with a cafe stop at Hill Farm Barn for all the ‘goodbyes’ on Sunday 18th August from the Polish War Memorial (A40 Ruislip/Northolt) at 9am
Viva Evans-yeah!
One of the very first original West London Cyclonauts is leaving the UK for Spain and we intend to say a very fond farewell, and give our best wishes this Sunday on the Club Ride. The ride starts at 9am from the Polish War Memorial and a stop at Hill Farm Barn for coffee on the ‘Berko Bash’ route.
As most will know, the annual Randonax Rides on August Bank Holiday Monday mark the anniversary of the start of West London Cycling as a club. The handful of West London Cyclonauts who turned out that weekend in 2021 were the start of what we have today. Bryn Evans was one of those early pioneers, he was there on August Bank Holiday 2021. Since then he has acted as a ride captain, supported and completed the Festive 500 twice, helped at events, completed numerous rides, a cheery face at our curry evenings, volunteered for Harrow Cycling Hub, experienced our Belgium cobbles trip and the Olympic Velodrome, done PBP and LEL and supplied some of the rides in our routes portfolio. Everyone who knows Bryn is aware of his calm persona, sense of humour and helpful and supportive nature, an all-round popular bloke. We will miss him a lot, but wish him all the best in his new life in Spain! Viva Evans-yeah!
