The home of VR Racing, West London VR has been absent for a few months as we grew disillusioned with the state of online platforms since the despicable demise of RGT. However, there’s is a fresh young app on the scene which hasn’t reached pubity yet, but looks like a talented star in the making. So West London Cycling is backing it … it’s called BikeTerra and our second Test Event is on Wednesday 6th November at 19.00 UK Time, with our third now scheduled for the same start time on Wednesday 13th November.
Flat 16km course, starting at Windsor (passes the castle), through Eton, over Dorney Common and into Maidenhead (note the road narrows as leaving Maidenhead which replicates the narrow railway arch in real life). Ends up at Bray just after passing the infamous Fat Duck Restaurant.
Up and over, 16km over the iconic Box Hill in Southern Britain, with a fast second half of the course. As can be seen from the picure above, Biketerra managaes to capture the essence of Box Hill exceptionally well. You won’t want to miss thin online gem!

Whilst Biketerra is in its very early stages and is, therefore, fairly basic, they have big plans. We have been amazed at how far they’ve got so far. In partcular, we can create our own rides and races based on real roads, as we did on RGT. Whilst the current graphics are fairly basic, what is amazing is that it picks up the terrain, buildings and trees superbly. Watch the real life video and then ride with us on Wednesday 6th November at 19.00pm Uk Time. It picks out Windsor Castle, the Narrow Railway Arch in Maidenhead, Dorney Common looks almost exactly like it does in real life plus the buildings in Eton and Bray are there. Spot the water as the course goes over Maidenhead Bridge and Windsor Bridge … this has the potential to surpass RGT but it needs our support. Be a pioneer, be a test rider, tell your grandchildren you were part of the developmet whilst everyone else was still Zwifting ….. see you at the start.
And even if that is impressive, just wait until you ride Box Hill virtually on Wednesday 13th November!
