Overnight snow you say? Ah well, it was there at 7am but was thawing by 9am, so our Sunday ride went ahead and turned out to be a truly great ride … warmer than one might think, no wind, light rain throughour but, as they say, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad kit! Suitably kitted out in rain jackets, 8 riders ventured out and didn’t see any other road cyclists out on Sunday rides during the whole ride! Whether bonkers or brave, ‘Chapeau!’ to the ‘snow shows’, although clearly we missed the ‘no shows’.
