The West London Cycling Cantii Way Weekender 25th to 28th April 2025 (Sold Out)
With just a few days before the Cantii Crew embark on their circuit of Kent expedition, here is the itinerary. As 20% of the route is ‘off road’ we are favouring Gravel Tyres but they are probably not essential. The accomodation details have been given to participants and we recommend a rain jacket, both as an extra layer and in case it rains along with SPD cleats.
The Cantii were an ancient tribe which inhabited South East England and the county of Kent’s name is derived from the word ‘Cantii’ … as is Canterbury. The cycling route has been slightly amended by us to add in an overnight stop in Hastings, and covers most of the Kent coast with an inland section making up the loop.
Before embarking upon the Cantii Way, there is a Friday afternoon ride to the iconic Ham Sandwich sign … a photo opportunity! A Monday morning recovery ride is also available for the keener cyclists.

8am Saturday Cantii Way Ride PART ONE RAMSGATE TO HASTINGS
SATURDAY EVENING / NIGHT – Premier Inn Hastings
8am Sunday Cantii Way Ride PART TWO HASTINGS TO RAMSGATE
SUNDAY EVENING … Post ride debriefing at Wetherspoons Ramsgate
Monday 9am Start from Ramsgate THE RAMSGATE SPIN 44km
