Only on Biketerra can we bring you real places to race, and we love the way Biketerra does it … join in and see for yourself. If you know the roads we use in our races, you’ll actually recognise the route because Biketerra places buildings where buildings actually exist, tress where there are trees and fields where there are fields aswell as recreating the roads’ real curves and gradients.

For those of you who don’t know, the Chiltern Hills are one of London’s best kept semi-secrets … a cycling wonderland and in West London Cycling’s Biketerra Race 1.10 we visit some of the smaller foothills around Chalfont. Nothing difficult, but it will make the race interesting!

We love the way Biketerra allows us to create our own tailor-made courses (You’ll love Race 1.11 … we are off to Antigua for a massive downhill to the coast) and coincidentally last week’s winner, Stu Thorn, can actually ride around his local roads on our Cream of the Chalfonts course (see profile below).

Cream of the Chalfonts implies the best of the area (the cream) …. however, this was a slightly ‘tongue-in-cheek’ name as ‘Chalfonts’ is ‘Rhyming Slang’ for Piles (Hemorrhoids) for which ‘Cream’ is often prescribed. Chalfont St.Giles = Piles in case you wondered.

Scroll down for the Series’ Standings, meanwhile here is the route for you Terra Terrors to plan your strategy for Wednesday’s showdown. As you can see, real ‘Frog and Toads’ (Roads) to ride in your own Mickey Mouse (House).

The series of 16 races is based on a rider’s best 10 results (measured in points) with 100points for first, 99 for second and so on ….

There are 7 races to go, get involved and get fit for summer 2025!
